About Us

Reading Teacher is a comprehensive digital platform designed using phonics methods to provide a step-by-step tool to teach children to learn to read. The program was designed off the Science of Reading teaching decodables & I See Sam book series which has been downloaded on the Apple Book store over 1 million times since its inception.

 

Reading Teacher includes 100 animated, interactive stories across 25 different levels. Each story introduces or reviews a new phoneme, new words, and special (high frequency) words. Each new word throughout the program is then repeated at least five times in the book in which it first appears, and then five more times in the next ten books. Prior to starting each story, children are prompted to select the ‘Listen’ or ‘Read’ option which allows for multiple exposures, experiences, and allows for additional reinforcements of growing skills.

This reading program will assist early learners to succeed academically as they progress through school. Reading Teacher uses phonics to help children build a strong foundation for success in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and early elementary school. Throughout the interactive stories, the decodable words in each story are highlighted. The highlighted words are clickable and allow children to hear the word which helps them on their reading journey.

 

Reading Teacher is the perfect tool for use in the classroom, at home, or in hybrid learning environments. It has individual student tracking to allow for a personalized learning experience and tailors additional resources to those who need it most. Reading Teacher comes with all of the tools you need to teach children to learn to read. The program contains hundreds of hours of resources to help parents and teachers get started wherever your child may be in their reading journey.

Helping others is of the utmost importance to our organization. Throughout the 18 months of Covid, we allowed free access to everyone. The goal was to provide support to teachers and parents adjusting to the new at-home, virtual learning style. Since then, we have also formed a partnership with World Reader.

 

World Reader works globally with partners to support vulnerable and underserved communities with digital reading solutions that help improve learning outcomes, workforce readiness, and gender equity. World Reader provides educational materials to Title 1 schools around the world. World Reader has provided these tools to 1.1 million children around the world and we are excited to announce that the ENTIRE Reading Teacher series will be made complementary on their platform so that we do our part in helping to achieve world literacy.
